A field guide fails when it has to be carried to a brighter lamp. We set The Clear Line, After the Call, and the instructional half of The Account Book in 16-point type, with a line length a person can track without a finger.
Large print is often treated as a special edition of a book that was designed for someone else. These pages are designed here first. The margins are wide so a card can be copied. The chapters stop when the question is answered.
The cloth binding is there so the book can sit open on a table and still look like something worth keeping. That is the whole of the house style.
